We work in two of China's heritage crafts: mulberry silk, a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage, and Suzhou embroidery, a national intangible cultural heritage. Both are crafts China chooses for its state gifts.
We keep our range small: mulberry silk for the night, and scarves in silk and wool carrying Suzhou embroidery, each in six colours. Fewer products means more care in the details — the weight of the silk, the finish of every seam and a box that is ready to give.

Why sleep on silk?
Silk is far smoother than cotton, so your hair and face glide over it instead of tugging. That means less frizz, less breakage and fewer sleep creases by morning. Silk also absorbs much less moisture than cotton, so your skin's own moisture and your night cream stay where they belong.
What does 19 momme mean?
Momme (mm) is the weight of silk fabric. The higher the number, the denser and heavier the silk. This set is made from 19 momme mulberry silk — dense enough to feel substantial, light enough to stay cool.
Is it good for curly or colour-treated hair?
Yes. Curly, textured and colour-treated hair is often the most prone to frizz and breakage, which is exactly where a smooth silk surface helps most.
What is included in the set?
One pillowcase, one eye mask and one scrunchie, all in the same colour, packed in a black magnetic gift box.
What do the badges on the photos mean?
They mark the craft behind this set. Chinese sericulture and silk craftsmanship was inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009 (the 蚕桑丝织 seal). Silk is also a classic Chinese state gift (the 国礼 seal, meaning “state gift”). The badges describe the craft, not an award given to this product.
